Family Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to

for providing quality health care that is comprehensive and convenient for
each patient.
No calls, No OB, Office only: hours to be discussed
Responsibilities:
• provides professional medical services and general care
and treatment of patients in the practice
• Physician will give standard care in accordance with PMG’s
professional standards of quality and practice protocols; including, but
not limited to, the following:
o will provide comprehensive medical services for patients
on a continuing basis
o is responsible for performing examination of patients,
using medical instruments and equipment
o Elicits and records information about patients' medical history.
Prepares patient records, charts and reports as appropriate
o Orders or executes various tests to provide information on
patient's condition o Analyzes reports and findings of tests and
examinations, and diagnoses condition of patient
o Administers and/or prescribes treatments and medications
o Promotes health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and
methods of prevention of disease
o Performs surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency
o Refers patients to specialists for consultant services when
necessary for the patient's well being
Educational requirements:
• Understanding of medical coding and billing
• Must be competent with common PC applications including Internet,
Email, Microsoft Office and Athena EHR
